The polygraph examiner proceeded to interview the two employees separately, during which time it became evident that the two stories were conflicting in respect of certain fine details. The examiner concluded that there was a high probability that the employees were not telling the truth. After several hours of questioning and skillful interrogation, the two employees confessed that they had not been hijacked, but had sold the goods at various locations around Johannesburg. OF&A, along with the South African Police Services, proceeded to retrieve the goods from the locations identified by the two suspects - a successful operation which lasted throughout the night and well into the following day. |
